My luck would have been that I was on my motorcycle and was only able to buy three gallons of it. Now, to analyze the dream…you by chance did not have a big bowl of chili that night for dinner did you?

If I’d had chili then wouldn’t my dream have been about giving gas to someone instead?

This actually happened in South Buffalo, NY the other day. The price was supposed to be programmed into the pump at $4.90 a gallon, but someone accidentally left off the “0″. Can you imagine gas at 0.49 a gallon!!?? This station had lines around the block until someone corrected the error. |
The other night I had a dream about the price of gasoline. I pulled up to the pump and saw that somebody had screwed up and set the price to $2.94 per gallon instead of $4.92. I giddily—albeit furtively, lest the error be corrected, to the woe of my wallet—squeezed the trigger for all it was worth and filled the tank.
