Editorial Integrity

newspaperRemember when Rupert Murdoch bought the Wall Street Journal and made some nondescript noise about maintaining its journalistic integrity? If you’re still buying the lie that he wouldn’t simply turn the respected, conservative Journal into another innuendo-spewing tabloid, you might wish to consider this recent WSJ negative puff piece (which was then dutifully echoed by Fox News as if it were actually worthy of repeating).

I don’t know what’s worse: that Murdoch is subverting the Wall Street Journal to peddle this sort of stupid crap, or that his conservative smear machine is so fucking predictable that The Onion had already beat him to the punch.

Oh man ..if only this were true we could have big Corn dogs to pull on to cast our votes and Michael Morre would be our next two term leader to boot!

Are you fucking kidding me? This is in the news? So people will now vote for a candidate because they share the same love of hot dogs and ice cream. So, the fast-food loving candidate gets elected and our taxes go up to pay for the Lipitor prescriptions that will, undoubtedly, be needed if Ms. Rocky Road were to be elected. Is this what politics has come to?

You know, I really just wish the GOP would go ahead and be honest, and say, “Obama’s a n____! He’s BLACK! BLACKITY-BLACK-BLACK! Do you really want to vote for the scary black guy? Well, DO YOU??”
